We are proud to announce that on April 16, 2025, at Arizona State University’s Tempe campus, the National Institute of Technology (NIT) officially entered into a landmark partnership with Arizona State University (ASU). This historic signing ceremony was attended by Douglas L. Becker (Founder and Chairman of Cintana Education), Michael M. Crow (President of ASU), and Shahzeb Shabbir (Founder and Chancellor of NIT). This partnership marks a new era for NIT and higher education in Pakistan. By joining forces with ASU—the No. 1 ranked university in the U.S. for innovation for ten consecutive years (2016–2025) by U.S. News & World Report—NIT becomes Pakistan’s first American university. Together, we will bring ASU’s world-class, innovative educational model to Pakistan, offering our students a transformative learning experience. NIT students will benefit from dual-degree pathways (earning degrees from both NIT and ASU) and access to a global network of resources and research.
