Program Overview
The Master of Global Management at NIT is developed using Arizona State University’s (ASU) curriculum and offers a dual degree pathway (1+1) with both NIT and Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University (ASU).
Course Curriculum
The Master of Global Management (MGM) program at NIT mirrors the specialized MGM program from ASU’s Thunderbird School of Global Management, preparing students for leadership roles in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. With a foundation in international business, public administration, and cross-cultural leadership, the program equips students to address complex challenges across industries.
The MGM curriculum offers tailored learning through diverse concentrations, fostering skills such as cross-cultural competency, social and emotional intelligence, and adaptive thinking, alongside leadership and management expertise. Experiential learning and transdisciplinary approaches provide students with practical insights and a global perspective, preparing them for roles in multinational corporations, NGOs, and government.
Concentration Opportunities:
- For those pursuing the ASU dual degree, there is access to 17 Thunderbird concentrations, enabling greater specialization and expanded international exposure.
Dual Degree Pathway (1+1 Program)*
Students have the possibility to complete their Master’s degree at NIT or opt to study one year at NIT and their final year at ASU, either online or on-campus, graduating with two Master’s degrees: one from NIT and one from Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University (ASU)—gaining a competitive global edge.

Admissions to earn a Master's degree at NIT
Applicants must have completed sixteen (16) years of education, or a four-year bachelor’s degree comprising at least 130 credit hours after HSSC/F.A./F.Sc. or an equivalent Grade 12 qualification.
In addition, candidates are required to successfully pass the prescribed Admission Test and Interview as part of the selection process.
Admissions to earn the MLM and MGM degree by Thunderbird Global School of Management at Arizona State University (ASU)
Master of Leadership Management (MLM) online:
NIT undergraduate program diploma + official transcripts from every college or institution attended, including NIT’s. Must submit original transcripts and English translated transcripts.
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = “A”) in the last 60 hours of their first bachelor’s degree program.
Proof of English proficiency: (TOEFL>80 iBT, IELTS>6.5, Pearson Test of English>60, Duolingo>105), all taken within the last two years from start date.
Master of Global Management (MGM) on-Campus:
NIT undergraduate program diploma + official transcripts from every college or institution attended, including NIT’s. Must submit original transcripts and English translated transcripts.
Min cum GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = “A”) in the last 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours of undergraduate coursework and min. 80 points (B) for each bridge.
Proof of English proficiency: TOEFL>100 iBT, IELTS>7.5, Pearson Test of English>68,Duolingo>125, all taken within the last two years from start date OR successful completion of ASU Global Launch.
