Student Governors
To ensure strong student representation, NIT will establish a Student Governors that works closely with the university administration on campus initiatives and student concerns. This council provides a platform for leadership, dialogue, and meaningful participation, allowing students to shape the campus experience. The council will be formed once the first batch has settled into campus life and initial traditions have been established. Members are selected during their senior year through a nomination process, and candidates are chosen for their strong moral character, leadership potential, and commitment to the community. Student Governors also have the opportunity to take positions on university committees, contributing directly to policy-making and campus development.
How to Apply:
Students interested in becoming Student Governors can submit nominations during their senior year. Detailed criteria and the application process will be shared by the SSE closer to the selection period, ensuring transparency and equal opportunity for all eligible students.
