Sheza Akhtar Butt
Sheza Akhtar Butt is a Business Analyst and Management professional with over eight years of experience across healthcare technology, entrepreneurship, and organizational development in Pakistan, Canada, and the United Kingdom. She holds an MSc in Business Analysis and Consulting from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, where she also contributed to entrepreneurial initiatives through the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship by supporting innovation programmes, networking events, and business engagement activities. She earned her BS (Hons.) in Biological Sciences from Forman Christian College, Lahore. Her work reflects a strong interest in understanding how people, processes, and technology interact to create meaningful organizational change, enabling her to bridge academic concepts with practical industry applications.
Prior to joining NIT, Sheza worked with NHS England, contributing to operational improvement and digital transformation initiatives within complex healthcare systems. She also worked on the development of an AI Health Assistant for a Canadian health-tech company, supporting business analysis, product development, and stakeholder collaboration. She has also contributed to business and operational initiatives across manufacturing sectors, including EGG Lighting, Glasgow, broadening her experience across diverse industries. Beyond her corporate experience, she is a graduate of the National Incubation Centre (NIC), Lahore, where she gained hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, venture development, mentorship, and innovation ecosystems. Her academic interests include entrepreneurship in developing economies, digital transformation, and industry-academia collaboration. At NIT, she is particularly interested in bridging academia and industry by integrating real-world projects, entrepreneurial thinking, and evidence-based problem-solving into management education.
