Dr. Naveda Kitchlew
Ms. Naveda Kitchlew specializes in the management of higher education at national, regional, and global scale. Her doctorate in business administration with a specialization in higher education management coupled with vast experience spanning over twenty-five years and covering teaching and administrative roles in the Middle East, UK, and the US makes her a conspicuous educationist. During her career, she has assumed leadership roles for transforming curriculums, revamping academic programs, and institutionalizing the internationalization of higher education strategy.
Extensive experience as project leader and workshop facilitator (conducts sessions such as “Outcome Based Teaching,” “Business Communication,” “Diversity in the Workplace,” “Leadership in a Changing World” and other workshops addressing professional motivation, ethics and performance.
As an administrator in higher education institutions, she has conducted organizational assessments, facilitated strategic planning, coordinated intervention strategies evaluated outcomes, created and/or updated and communicated new policies and procedures. She also assists students and organizations with planning and development of projects, programs, and activities. In her role as Associate Dean Internationalization & Academics at the University of Management and Technology, she led the implementation of Internationalization strategy for creating a global impact. Alongside her role as an Associate professor, she was the Focal Person for the National and International accreditations at the Business School from 2014-19
During her tenure as Dean of School of Business and Economics, Dr. Kitchlew reevaluated the strategic direction of SBE before implementing initiatives to align and benefit from national and international trends and economic conditions.
She holds an undergraduate degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences and a Master of Science in Business with a specialization in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from National Louis University, Chicago. Dr. Kitchlew holds a doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Bath, UK.
