Dr. Zainab Habib Bukhari

Dr. Zainab Habib Bukhari is a psychologist, educator, and researcher with 14 years of experience in teaching, research, and student development. She holds a PhD in Applied Psychology from the University of the Punjab and has taught a range of psychology courses while mentoring students across diverse academic settings. Her professional experience encompasses teaching, research, counseling, and academic advising, with a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and learner-centered education. She strives to cultivate critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and the practical application of psychological principles, enabling students to develop both academically and personally while fostering a deeper understanding of human behavior.

Dr. Bukhari’s research interests include resilience, trauma, coping strategies, quality of life, mental health, and psychological well-being. She has published her research in internationally indexed journals and has supervised postgraduate research in areas including resilience, family systems, aging, and social adjustment. In addition to her research contributions, she has completed professional training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed interventions. Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys reading, traveling, photography, and engaging in community service, which reflect her commitment to lifelong learning, creativity, and social responsibility.
