Syeda Umam Khalid
Umam Khalid is a lecturer and education specialist with over seven years of experience spanning educational leadership, curriculum and instructional design, teacher professional development, and technology-enabled learning. Her work bridges higher education, school systems, and the EdTech sector, where she has led initiatives in learning design, teacher training, assessment, and program management. She holds an M.A. in Adult Learning and Leadership from Columbia University and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Sociology and Anthropology from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
Umam designs and delivers learner-centered educational experiences across diverse academic and professional domains, including Business Communication, Project Management, Data Science and Health and Wellness. Her research and teaching interests focus on adult learning, educational leadership, and the integration of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
